Teeth Bleaching Products

I’m from Asia, and my dentist said that people from that area generally have darker shade teeth than American people. Does anyone know if it’s possible to whiten your teeth beyond your natural shade? Can anyone get those whiter than white teeth or does it depend on your natural teeth color? I’m not worried about the price right yet, I just want to know if it is at all possible. Thanks, everyone!

When you go to a dentist for teeth whitening, one of the first things he would do will be to determine the existing color of your teeth, whether or not your teeth are capable of being whitened and how white your teeth may be bleached.

Hue – is the underlying color of existing teeth compared to color groupings of brown, yellow, grey and reddish-grey.

Chroma – is the intensity of the underlying color

Value – is the black/white value of a tooth’s appearance, or how bright it appears to be.

So the results of any teeth whitening procedure will depend on the existing undertone of your teeth. People with Yellow undertone have lesser degree of whitening as compared to those with brown undertone. Those with grey undertones are least likely to show any substantial progress of teeth whitening.

I just got my braces off and I want to whiten my teeth up a little. Do all bleach products make your teeth super sensitive? I heard that the bleaching you can get done at the dentist makes your teeth gray after awhile. Is there anything natural I could use? If not, what products do you recommend? you can use the ARM&HAMMER toothpaste that is made specially for whitening. it makes your teeth about 3 shades whiter in one tube, but while using that, you can use the crest whitening mouthwash, which works for me.
I also chew the trident gum that whitens your teeth. it’ll say that it helps whiten on the front of the package!

No, whitening will not help a dead tooth. Your tooth is dead on the inside, where whitening treats the outside. The only way to whiten a dead tooth is to get a veneer or crown. Sorry…

I had the trays once but they didnt make the entire tooth white, as if the product didnt cover the entire tooth, it wasnt uniform. will the laser (i think its laser), the one time whitening be better at making the teeth all white?

I have a strong desire for tooth white. I brush my teeth, use expensive Crest mouthwash every morning and night. It seems that I will always have a yellow tint on my teeth. For teeth whitening reviews… add baking soda to your toothpaste when you’re brushing your teeth, it may taste gross but it whitens them up – it takes a few months to see anything but it should work. The issue with this is the result. It’s not going to be considerably white. If you want it "good" white, you need an alternative like the teeth whitening kits. My neighbor used it for a few days and I noticed it right away. She said she got the kit through a free trial from a website. Try the kit and if you don’t like it, stick with the baking soda for your teeth whitening reviews. I’ve already got mines shipped.

I just used Sapphire for 3 weeks but it didn’t get my teeth as white as I wouldve liked. I want the fake bright white!!! Celebrity white!

I’ve drank ice tea my whole life, and notice that my teeth are getting noticably yellow. Besides going to the dentist and getting teeth bleached, what is the best way/products for getting whiter teeth? I know over the past few years, those Crest Whitestrip type products have come out, but I’m afraid to waste the money on them. Anyone use them? Thanks for all help.

Make sure to have regular cleanings at your dental office every 6 months which will remove any extrinsic stains on your teeth. Extrinsic stains are stains that are caused by such things as coffee, tea, smoking, dark colas, etc. Also you can discuss whitening with your dentist.

As long as the trays still fit, just call several of the offices around you and see how much they will sell refill kits to you for.
